EMBOSS Takes On: A Packed WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indy — Including a Powerful Collaboration with Jordan Brand

This WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis was more than a celebration of basketball — it was a celebration of women, culture, creativity, and community. EMBOSS® was honored to play a part in this unforgettable weekend, including a dream collaboration with Jordan Brand that brought powerful storytelling and visual art to life. Here’s how it all went down:

DAY 1: Jordan x Playa Society Private Launch Party

(Thursday)

We kicked things off in style with an exclusive private launch party celebrating the Jordan x Playa Society collaboration — and the vibes were immaculate. As part of the weekend’s activation, EMBOSS® proudly curated a selection of visual artwork, spotlighting bold women artists whose work speaks volumes.

A huge thank you to the talented creatives whose pieces brought the space to life:
Madison Ivory, Amiah Mims, Tashema Davis, Shaunte Lewis, Kierra Ready, and Phyllicia Carr.
Thank you for your talents and trust — and we’re honored to be part of your journey.

DAY 2: "Shattering Expectations" Jordan Brand Panel

(Friday)

Hosted at the Jordan Activation Space, Friday’s “Shattering Expectations” panel delivered one of the most powerful conversations of the weekend. We were proud to see Mariah Ivey, creative consultant and cultural strategist, take the stage representing EMBOSS® and the Madam Walker Legacy Center with intention and brilliance.

Panelists included: Esther Wallace, Napheesa Collier, Brittany Hampton

  • Esther Wallace – Founder of Playa Society, a brand and movement dedicated to elevating women in sports through fashion and advocacy. Esther shared her journey of entrepreneurship, community building, and shifting cultural narratives through sport-inspired apparel.

  • Napheesa Collier – WNBA All-Star and co-founder of Unrivaled, a new league designed to create more opportunities for women’s professional basketball players. Napheesa brought a powerful athlete’s perspective to the conversation, speaking on balancing life as a mom, and paving the way for the next generation.

  • Brittany Hampton – Creative Director and Brand Strategist with a background in fashion, storytelling, and digital media. Brittany offered insights on shaping brand identity with authenticity and how women can lead creatively while staying true to themselves.

DAY 3: For the Girls Day Party

(Saturday)

In collaboration with Jordan Brand at the EMBOSS Space, the For the Girls Day Party was the perfect pre-game for the girlies the day of the All-Star game. The vibes were UP as we teamed up with Jordan to give away over 40 pairs of PINK Jordans.

Guests enjoyed brunch bites from Dashboard Food Truck, while enjoying sounds by DJ Littletown and DJ LoGo.

DAY 4: Full Court Press: A Photography Showcase

(Sunday)

We closed the weekend with the Full Court Press Photography Showcase, featuring the incredible work of Pepper Robinson, professional sports photographer, alongside WNBA All-Star Game Host Olivia West.

From behind-the-scenes moments to fast-paced action, the exhibit captured the heart of the game — and the women shaping it every day. A true visual love letter to the sport and the culture.

A Weekend to Remember

To Jordan Brand — thank you for your intentionality, partnership, and commitment to honoring women’s voices and visions.
To the artists, panelists, collaborators, and attendees — your brilliance is the reason this weekend was so powerful.
And to the city of Indianapolis — thank you for showing up with love, energy, and purpose.

This was more than a weekend. It was a movement.
