About our Guest Presenter:

Kristin Weeden is the Chief Talent Officer at Penske Entertainment Corp., overseeing the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), INDYCAR, and IMS Productions (IMSP). She leads the company’s talent and people strategies, culture, and workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, positioning HR as a trusted partner to the business. Together with her team, Kristin fosters an environment where employees thrive, and the organization achieves success.

With extensive experience in people strategy and leadership across sectors such as Intercollegiate Athletics, Higher Education, and Banking, Kristin excels in driving meaningful change within complex organizations. Before joining Penske Entertainment, she was Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, where she was instrumental in developing strategies for Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR technology, and Workforce DEI. Kristin’s commitment to excellence is reflected in her SHRM-Senior Certified Professional designation and her academic achievements, including a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Chicago State University and a Master's in Sports Management from Indiana State University.

Known for her energy and authenticity, Kristin’s influence extends beyond her professional responsibilities, as she serves on the Next Gen Talent Board, the Nickel Plate Heritage Board, and the Central Indiana Women in Business Council (CIWBC). She also mentors through Women in Sports and Entertainment (W.I.S.E.) and Mentors of Color and is a member of Black in HR Indy and the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series (SKL) Class XLVIII.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband, two sons, and extended family.

As we reflect on the past year, let’s take a moment to celebrate the positives while acknowledging the challenges we faced, so we can come back even stronger in 2025.

Here are some points for us to reflect on:

• Did we meet our goals? If not, what obstacles got in the way?

• How did we navigate changes and overcome challenges?

• Where did we excel, and where is there room for improvement?

• Was our communication with each other and our clients effective? If not, how can we improve?

• Did we maximize our resources? If not, how can we better utilize them moving forward?

• What lessons have we learned this year that we can carry into the next?

This Round Table Talk will be led by Regina Sloan.

Regina Sloan is a dual Certified Life Coach with 11 years of nursing experience. Her journey includes overcoming challenges like becoming a mother at 16 and navigating traumatic experiences, shaping her into a symbol of resilience and an example of what's possible. 

With a foundation in healthcare, specifically in intensive care and end-of-life settings, Regina possesses analytical prowess, exceptional communication skills, and natural leadership qualities. Her diverse background gives her a deep understanding of human behavior, enabling her to guide others through life's complexities.

Regina's coaching philosophy focuses on empowering women to believe in themselves, embrace new opportunities, and unlock their full potential, all while enjoying and having lots of self-compassion. Through servant leadership and transformative guidance, she helps women create the results they want and get into action. 

Beyond her professional life, Regina is intentional about living a life she loves and enjoys camping, hiking, reading, and overdosing on all things personal development. 

Let us use this time to reflect on our achievements and shortcomings and learn from them. Together, we can make the coming year even better.

De’Asha is a native from Anderson, IN. After graduating from Indiana State University, she moved to Indianapolis to pursue a career in Healthcare administration. There he sharpened her skill sets in Human Resources and Benefit Management. After working in corporate for 7 years, De’Asha started a business in 2018 using the same tools she acquired as an employee. She then left her job in May of 2019 and worked her businesses full time. Vivacious Professional Services took off soon after.

DeAsha graduated with her MBA from Strayer University June of 2023. She now works as a consultant to companies and organizations providing tax and financial management services. She is also an adjunct professor at Vincennes University where she teaches Entrepreneurship, Business Management, and Organizational Leadership. When she is not working, she is hanging with her son. Her hobbies include working out, reading, and traveling.

About Muffy:

Dinah Allen (@MuffySkates) is an Indianapolis native who fell in love with the art of rhythm skating during adult nights at Skateland. Muffy joined a skate club called Naptown Real Rollers in 2005 and began traveling the US to national skate jams and performing in parades. With over 15 years of roller-skating experience, Muffy has taught lessons to roller derby teams, children, and adults all over the country.

With the growing demand for roller skating, Muffy continues to educate and inspire skaters worldwide through her Instagram profile and recently joined the board of the non profit Roller Skate Indianapolis.
