EMBOSS Announces Kristin Weeden as Featured Speaker for Boss Babe Brunch 2025

We are honored to announce Kristin Weeden as a featured speaker at Boss Babe Brunch 2025, taking place on Sunday, June 1st, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the iconic Madam Walker Legacy Center.
Kristin Weeden is the Chief Talent Officer at Penske Entertainment Corp., where she oversees the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), INDYCAR, and IMS Productions (IMSP). In her role, Kristin leads the company’s people strategy, talent development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts—positioning HR as a trusted business partner and building a culture where employees thrive.
With a career that spans sectors such as intercollegiate athletics, higher education, and banking, Kristin brings deep expertise in workforce transformation and organizational leadership. Prior to joining Penske Entertainment, she served as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, where she led initiatives in talent acquisition, HR technology, and DEI programming.
Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Chicago State University and a master’s degree in Sports Management from Indiana State University. She is also a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional, a testament to her continued commitment to excellence in the HR field.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kristin is a vibrant force in the community. She serves on the Next Gen Talent Board, the Nickel Plate Heritage Board, and the Central Indiana Women in Business Council (CIWBC). She is also a mentor through Women in Sports and Entertainment (W.I.S.E.), Mentors of Color, and a member of Black in HR Indy and the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series (Class XLVIII).
Originally from Chicago and now proudly rooted in Indy, Kristin enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, two sons, and extended family. Her energy, authenticity, and purpose-driven leadership inspire everyone around her.
